Reverend Al Sharpton

Who is Reverend Alfred Charles Sharpton Jr. – Rev. Sharpton

Rev. Al Sharpton

Sharpton runs National Action Network Inc. which is NOT a charity organization, it is a 501(c)(4), which means it can engage in political campaign intervention activities. It is a tax-free entity but not a charity. It is a nonprofit organized and operated for social welfare purposes.

Contributions to civic leagues or other section 501(c)(4) organizations generally are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

SO this headline is MISLEADING!
O’Reilly gave $25K to Al Sharpton’s charity

Here is NAN’s 2017 990 form which shows that Sharpton received $244,661 in annual compensation.
Total revenue: $6,323,214
Total expenses: $5,958,115
They spent $1,799,774 on “program expenses” and $1,276,587 in “salaries and wages”.
It’s basically a shell for Al to operate.

Charge: In 1987, a 15-year-old black girl named Tawana Brawley went missing and was found four days later covered in dog feces andwith racial slurs written on her body. She claimed that at least two and possibly six white men, one of them carrying a badge, had repeatedly raped her in the woods in upstate New York. Sharpton took up Brawley’s cause and defended her refusal to cooperate with prosecutors, saying that asking her to meet with New York’s attorney general (who had been asked byGov. Mario Cuomoto supervise the investigation) would be like “asking someone who watched someone killed in the gas chamber to sit down with Mr. Hitler.” According to the Associated Press, Sharpton and Brawley’s lawyers asserted “on 33 separate occasions” that a local prosecutor named Steven Pagones “had kidnapped, abused and raped” Brawley. There was no evidence, and Pagones was soon cleared. Sharpton then accused a local police cult with ties to the Irish Republican Army of perpetrating the alleged assault. The case fizzled when a security guard for Brawley’s lawyers testified that the lawyers and Sharpton knew Brawley was lying. A grand jury investigation concluded in late 1988 that Brawley “was not the victim of forcible sexual assault” and that the whole thing was ahoax. The report specifically exonerated Pagones, and in 1998 Pagones won a defamation lawsuit against Sharpton, Brawley, and Brawley’s lawyers. Sharpton was ordered to pay Pagones $65,000. Johnnie Cochran and other Sharpton benefactors subsidized the payment.

Defense: Sharpton stands by Brawley’s story. In May 2002, when the Associated Press asked whether he would apologize to Pagones, Sharpton replied: “Apologize for what? For believing a young lady?” Referring to his incipient presidential campaign, Sharpton continued, “When people around the country know that I stood up for a young lady … I think it will help me.” In March 2003, when the Washington Post asked whether Sharpton could have expressed sympathy for Pagones after the prosecutor was cleared, Sharpton replied that Brawley “identified Pagones. I was her spokesperson. I cannot turn around in what I said I believed.” As to the jury verdict against him, Sharpton told the New York Daily News in July 2003 that “a jury said in the Central Park jogging case … that I was wrong, and it was just overturned 13 years later. Juries can be wrong. I’ve stood by what I believe. Juries are proven wrong every day.”

(Via Project Veritas) Following the negative comments directed at the Reverend Al sharpton by the family and representatives of Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, and Michael Brown, James O’Keefe went to Al sharpton’s weekly National Action Network to question the Reverend.
Before being “compelled” to leave the rally by several very large men standing over him, the good Reverend directly addressed O’Keefe and another Project Veritas journalist mid speech. A visibly flustered sharpton said that O’Keefe was clowning and accused him (and the right wing in general) of distorting, exaggerating, and lying

Networks crop Farrakhan from Clinton/Jackson/sharpton image at Aretha’s funeral
September 2, 2018
It was an image that caused quite a stir Friday afternoon. There on the stage presiding over Aretha Franklin’s epic funeral extravaganza was former President Bill Clinton alongside former presidential candidates Jesse Jackson and Al sharpton. And immediately next to those three, in the same honored position as the ex-president and the civil rights leaders was anti-semite, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. The controversial, fringe leader who has been accused of anti-semitism, anti-white racism, anti-gay slurs, and sexism was prominently featured in the marathon television coverage but somehow didn’t show up in the social media coverage from some of America’s major networks. It was clearly a deliberate choice to keep Farrakhan from the image thus protecting Democratic Party elder statesmen Clinton, Jackson, and sharpton from being directly associated with the controversial hate-monger.
Given how every elected Republican is forced over and over again to “disavow” the likes of David Duke and Richard Spencer and other race-baiting figures who inject themselves, uninvited, into the conservative movement, you’d think at some point Democrats would be challenged to disavow the Nation of Islam icon. However, Farrakhan and his movement continue to be popular, it appears, with the African-American community in major urban centers and he is celebrated by the likes of Rep. Kieth Ellison, Rep. Maxine Waters, and Rep. Andre Carson. So, apparently, mainstream Democrats like Clinton find it less palatable to alienate those voters than it is to stand up against racist, gay-bashing, anti-semites like Farrakhan. Duly noted. And the networks who delivered protection from an uncomfortable photo-op is also so noted.

“The National Action Network is headquartered in Harlem, New York and has regional offices in Washington, D.C.., Atlanta and Los Angeles. It currently has over 105 chapters in cities around the nation.” Wikipedia
This is how they clean the money. 105 chapters of NAN throughout the US.

>If we r to dig on NAN…
>all of the NAN chapters file taxes separately from sharptons main NAN. they are all under diff names (I’m assuming, just looking into CA NAN, it’s under diff name)
>What needs to be done is each chapter needs to be found on dos or irs, or gov site within that chapters state, then dig on their tax records.
>This needs to be done for every NAN chapter.
>Then compile all tax records together, and see how much money there is per year, in total of all NAN chapters.
>Need help from other diggers…

4554 BLM is a Front to Funnel Cash Donations to Biden, Promoters and Other D Service Providers
Q !!Hs1Jq13jV6 1 Jul 2020 – 9:36:21 AM
What % [of total] of BLM donations between June 1 – July 1 went to the Biden campaign for president?
What % [of total] of Biden’s campaign for president donations [money raised] came from BLM donations [past month]?
Worth tracking.
Why is BLM pushed every 4-years?
Who pays for Sharpton to fly private?
Does BLM ‘donated’ money end up in Sharpton’s [+other ‘propped up’ narrative drivers] foundation [National Action Network (NAN)] and/or other private account(s)?
What outside [F] groups donate large sums of money to BLM ‘knowing’ it is then routed to Biden campaign for president and other ‘friendly’ [D] service providers?
How do you avoid campaign finance laws?
How do you ‘wash’ [clean] money?
Is this about improving the quality of life for Black Americans OR SOMETHING ELSE?

National review quotes a blunt statemant about the sharpton operation.
NAN – National Review – 2015
“The NLPC has alleged that much of the support for National Action Network is the result of a shakedown. ‘sharpton has enriched himself and NAN for years by threatening companies with bad publicity if they don’t come to terms with him,’ NLPC chairman Ken Boehm told the New York Post in January. ‘Put simply, sharpton specializes in shakedowns.’ ”
